Team connectivity on the move

Every train is an office. Keep yours working.

Your team already works on the move, until their network drops. Sidekick is a backup data eSIM that sits alongside each phone's main SIM. It connects through EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, avoiding the network the main SIM uses, so there's a different network to fall back on. It works across the EU, EEA and Switzerland too. No new hardware to buy or install.

  • Data-only eSIM
  • Deployed on the phones your team already carries
  • Simple per-seat pricing
The problem

A single network always has gaps. A moving team hits every one of them.

No UK network covers everywhere. On a train, in the countryside, or across a city, whichever network your team is locked to will have blackspots. They tend to find them at the worst moment.

  • A different network to fall back on

A journey crosses each network's blackspots in turn, and a single SIM inherits all of its network's gaps. Sidekick avoids your main network, so when that drops, the backup is on another one.

  • Install by link or QR code

It's an eSIM on the phones your team already carries. No routers, no boosters, no waiting for infrastructure. Each person installs it with a one-tap link or a QR code.

  • No new hardware

Each phone keeps its number and main SIM. The backup eSIM handles data when the main network can't.

You already pay for the hour on the train. How much of it works?

Move the sliders to try your own numbers. It's an illustrative estimate based on the assumptions shown, not a measured result or a guarantee.

Illustrative dead-zone hours / year414 hrs
Illustrative value of hours recovered / year£21,735

Illustrative only. It assumes 20% of travel time on a single network is unusable, that a backup recovers 70% of that time, and 46 working weeks a year. You set every other input. This is not a measurement of coverage or a promise of results.

For teams

Simple to deploy. Piloted on your busiest route.

  1. Deploy

    Send eSIMs, not plastic

Each person installs the eSIM with a one-tap link or QR code and turns on data roaming for it (Sidekick needs this, even in the UK). Phones keep their number and main SIM.

  2. Connect

    On a different UK network

At setup, you tell us each phone's main network. The backup connects through EE, O2, Vodafone or Three, avoiding that one, so it can step in when the main network drops.

  3. Pilot

Prove it on your worst route

Start with a small pilot on the route your team complains about most. Decide from your own experience, not our marketing.

Or offer it as a benefit your people actually notice.

Season ticket loan, cycle scheme, signal scheme. Cover your commuters' connectivity with simple per-seat pricing: a perk they can use on every journey.

We'll come back to you with a pilot proposal, usually a handful of eSIMs on your busiest route, so you can judge it for yourself.

What to expect

  • A short call to understand where your team travels and where connectivity hurts.
  • A small, time-boxed pilot scoped to your busiest route.
  • An honest view on whether a backup eSIM helps your team. No hard sell.
