How to install your eSIM

No shop visit. No plastic SIM. Just scan, install, and roam.

After you purchase, we send everything you need to add your plan to a compatible phone or tablet. Most people finish setup in a few minutes from home or at the airport.

Follow the steps below for your device. If anything looks different, your manufacturer’s menus may vary slightly, the overall flow is the same.

Before you start

A quick checklist saves time and avoids surprises when you land.

  • Compatible device: Confirm your handset or tablet supports eSIM and is not locked to a carrier that blocks additional plans.
  • Stable connection: Install using Wi-Fi where possible so the profile downloads without interruption.
  • Don’t remove your primary SIM if you need it: Many travellers keep their home SIM for SMS and use the eSIM for data abroad.

Add the eSIM to your device

iPhone and iPad (iOS)

Open Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM (or Add Data Plan). Scan the QR code from your email or account, or tap our direct-install link if we provided one.

Follow the on-screen prompts to label the plan (for example “Travel”) and choose whether to use it for data only or for calls as well.

Android

Open Settings and find Network & Internet, Connections, or SIM manager, the exact path depends on your manufacturer. Choose to add or download a SIM, then scan the QR code or use the install link.

If prompted, set the eSIM as your data line for the trip while keeping your primary SIM for voice if you prefer.

When to turn it on

You can install the eSIM profile before you travel. Wi-Fi at home is usually the easiest time to do it. When you arrive, choose this line for mobile data and enable data roaming on that line only when you want to use data abroad. That way your allowance lines up with your trip instead of starting while you are still on your home network.

If data does not connect within a few minutes, toggle aeroplane mode once, check that the correct line is selected for mobile data, and confirm roaming is allowed for that plan.
